Songs For the Heart! Programs

Mission and Vision: Songs for the Heart! programs inspire prayer in times of sorrow and joy. As 'singing is for one who loves' (St. Augustine), music is a powerful catalyst for conversations with God. Susan offers her voice to the Holy Spirit to carry His message of love on the wings of song.   

Susan is answering a delightfully insistent call to combine her charisms of music, mercy, encouragement and hospitality with her passion and joy in singing - to travel wherever asked to present unique opportunities to connect with God through music. 

Groeschel Times Two:  A very special Groeschel connection creates an experience you'll find nowhere else!  Along with Susan's classical singing of both well-known and rarely-heard music, each program or workshop includes recorded prayers and teachings by her late first cousin, Fr. Benedict Groeschel, C.F.R..

Still blessed by his holy counsel, encouragement and prayer, Susan dedicates this apostolate in memory of his holy life and all the good works that continue because of his example and continued prayers for us all.

Programs:

  • Pray for Mercy & Peace! uses the Seven Sorrows of Mary to discover, by her example, how to bear, and help others bear, suffering and sorrow. Mary leads us always to joy; to her Son, the Prince of Peace. Find out more here. 
  • Pray with Joy & Thanksgiving! uses the Seven Joys of Mary to offer our own Magnificat of thanks to God for our many blessings. Mary rejoices with us in Christ, our Light. Find out more here.

Add-On Benefit Options:

  • Raise Money! Present a program as a fundraiser for a worthy cause. Catholic Charities and St. Vincent de Paul are two organizations that have received significant donations in this way. 
  • Serve others! Offer a program a second time (or a modified version) to benefit those in:  
    • Schools
    • Hospitals
    • Nursing Homes
    • Prisons  (Susan is authorized by the State of Texas to present programs in its prisons.)
  • Offer formation to local cantors and psalmists with Master Classes and NPM Certifications.
